Student Support Programme Lead

Term Time only plus 1 week (35hrs per wk)

Grade 8/9 depending on experience

(£25,418/£27,753) Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to lead the delivery of alternative programmes aimed at supporting students at risk of permanent exclusion or those with significantly poor attendance. This crucial role focuses on ensuring these students remain engaged in their education and have access to tailored interventions that promote positive outcomes. You will design and deliver programmes working with students and other stakeholders in identifying barriers to engagement and tailoring strategies to meet their needs.

   Classroom Cover Supervisor

Maintenance Assistant

 Are you looking for a new challenge?  We require a Maintenance Assistant to assist in the provision of maintenance and security services on the school premises.  The position means working both mornings and evenings on a rotational basis and will include opening and locking up the school and will also include driving the school mini bus.

St Martins School, is part of The 3-18 Education Trust, a multi-academy trust with students aged from 3-18 and which works collaboratively to provide interesting and exciting opportunities for staff to share ideas, resources and expertise, for the benefit of the students.

Code of Practice on the English Language requirement for Public Sector Workers. From 1 October 2016 there is a statutory duty to ensure that each person in a customer-facing role speaks fluent English. This is in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. The Code states that "Members of staff who, as a regular and intrinsic part of their role, are required to speak to members of the public in English or Welsh if they are considered to be working in a customer-facing role."

This is relevant to but not limited to the following types of job roles; Teaching and Teaching Assistant roles, administrative and receptionist posts.

The ability to communicate at ease with stakeholders and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
